Insurance companies may be coercing repair shops to use cheap parts, and sometimes dangerous practices to fix vehicles involved in accidents.
A post repair inspection is invaluable in determining if your vehicle is safe to drive, and was repaired to the manufacturers recommendations.
Aftermarket or Imitation Parts are infereior parts to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
Although the Insurance Company may lead you to believe an imitation part is just as good as an OEM part, the truth is it's not. Besides being less expensive, and in turn saving the insurance company money, the quality, fit, and finish is also substandard. Safety is yet another concern, as most of these parts have not been crash tested. You do not have to accept imitation or aftermarket parts!
